Dominican Republic – Global Health Initiative

Venture to the Dominican Republic to lend a hand to medical professionals in the field taking care of the most vulnerable in these rural communities – women and children. Measure height and weight, distribute vitamins and ensure clean water by distributing filters.  

In addition to your volunteer work, we’ll explore the paradise that is the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Uncover a crystal-clear freshwater lagoon in an ecological preserve. Snorkel over colorful reefs teaming with tropical fish. Relax by the pool at our Home Base located just steps away from the ocean. 

This is the true Dominican experience, far from the large resorts of the Eastern part of the island. Through your time spent with the people of these small communities across the North Coast, you’ll develop connections and learn firsthand about healthcare in the developing world.
