Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - Kenya 2020

Arrive in Nairobi and visit the University of Nairobi & David Sheldrick's wildlife trust. Then journey out to Ol Pejeta Conservancy where we’ll spend the next two days. Unwind and take in the sights from our luxury tents overlooking the Kenyan Savannah. Spend the next two days with local conservationists tracking lions and learning about the park’s endangered species. Take game drives and visit Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary. Days 4 & 5 will be spent in the beautiful Lake Naivasha region of Kenya. Then head down to Maasai Mara where we'll meet with Masai tribesmen, track lion and cheetah tracks, visit the ASU-affiliated MERC center & experience one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Along the way, we will converge with a ASU faculty and students to explore a range of pertinent issues in Sub-Saharan Africa as well as get to know one another.
