Galapagos – GLA for Families

*Note: An additional round-trip flight supplement from Quito to the Galapagos, or Galapagos tax and entrance fees will be added at checkout. This cost varies based on local regulations and will be added to your final invoice. Currently, the total cost for this is $600.

GLA for Families provides immersive & meaningful family vacations operated by our sister organization, Discover Corps. Each trip will take you on a journey through the country's must-see sites while going behind-the-scenes to experience a variety of purposeful organizations and people that are making difference.

On this journey, arrive in Quito, Ecuador where you’ll be met by your Discover Corps host. We’ll spend our first full day exploring this charming colonial city, strolling its cobblestone streets and visiting historical sites.  Early the next morning, fly to the Galapagos islands and then take a boat to Isabela Island where we’ll spend three nights.

On Isabela, venture out to some its most famous attractions and enjoy cycling and kayaking.  Continue to Santa Cruz island where we’ll spend 4 nights. Volunteer at a tortoise reserve and take day trips out to Pinzon and North Seymour.  On the final day, we’ll travel to Baltra island and catch flights back to Quito, and then onward back to your home country.

***The deposit for this trip is $600 per person in addition to a $30 registration fee per person. The deposit is non-refundable due to strict hotel terms on the Galapagos Islands. Additionally, a non-refundable $300 deposit will be collected for those doing the Amazon Post-Trip Extension to confirm rooms in the Amazon.
